Dr. Istvan Szecsenyi's: The Budapest Short Face |
I have raised Budapest Short Face Tumblers for 40 years. However, I was working with birds that came to America from Hungary in the years prior to and right after World War II. I visited my mentor in Budapest, Hungary in 1986Dr. Istvan Szecsenyi and he allowed me to take home a few very nice specimens to work with. I was able to produce this yellow hen from one of my red males and one of his yellow hens. The Princessas I called her was the breakthrough that I needed to produce the current flock that I have now. |
